From the moment we set eyes on Box Hill School , its unique charm captivated us. The main part of the building is grade II listed and built in 1883, this grand Victorian house reflects a love of Tudor architecture which enhances its romantic appeal. The sweeping lawns are lovely for a drinks reception, with dappled shade provided by ancient trees. Inside the historic house, there's a treat in store at every turn: hand-painted tiles, beautifully crafted stained glass windows, fine wood panelling and magnificent fireplaces. During the cooler months, a cheerful fire in the entrance hall ensures a warm welcome as guests mingle before going through to the main hall to eat.
