The Wessex Hotel is situated on the prestigious West Cliff and is within easy walking distance to the main town and sea front. In February 2006 Forestdale Hotels spent ½ million pounds refurbishing the public areas, making a fresh contemporary style entrance and lounge. We are proud to offer 9 meetings rooms, with the largest accommodating 400 delegates in a theatre style, with natural day light and no pillars.

The hotel has a licence for civil ceremonies in a choice of 3 rooms varying in size.

The hotel has 160 complimentary car parking spaces and can comfortably accommodate coaches and other large vehicles. Food served in our Lulworth Restaurant is of superb quality, incorporating fresh local and seasonal ingredients, all prepared by our Head Chef Steve, who has worked at The Wessex Hotel for over 10 years. The Leisure Club has excellent facilities, including both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, a patio area with sun loungers, sauna, steam rooms, Message room and fully equipped and air-conditioned gym.
