Featured Venue: Wimpole House
Cambridgeshire wedding venue
The outstanding Wimpole House was built in 1643 and has developed into
the largest country house in Cambridgeshire. The last owner of Wimpole was Mrs Elsie Bambridge and she bequeathed her estate to The National Trust in 1976. She had spent her life trying to return Wimpole House to it’s former glory and it is clear that in that, she truly succeeded. This is what makes it such a wonderful place for your wedding.
Wimpole House understands that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. The day is completely tailor-made to your requirements and the wedding team will assist you in any way you require. Weddings can be held in The Old Rectory, The Magnificent Hall or in a marquee on the lawn. There is a sample menu page on their website and it is also possible to cater for any special requests from their award winning cuisine.
The gardens provide an almost a case-book history of English gardening from 1690 to 1830 and therefore an absolutely amazing backdrop for your wedding.
