In a beautiful and ancient forest, weddings and receptions take place at Stansted Park throughout the year.
Our elegant Music Room is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, with up to 80 seated guests. The room opens onto the East Portico and its private lawns.
If your marriage has taken place elsewhere, we are equally happy to host your reception here.
Guests are greeted in the Main Hall where informal receptions are held. The sparkling Blue Drawing Room, hung with beautiful 18th century portraits, seats up to 50 for a ‘wedding breakfast’ and leads to the South Terrace with wonderful views and dramatic sunsets.
After a Civil Ceremony you can also arrange to have a Blessing in the private and ancient Chapel of St Paul in the gardens near to the house.
Adjacent to the House is a marquee site for larger parties. With far reaching views down one of the longest beech avenues in England and across towards the Solent it is an idyllic setting for an evening of celebrations to complete your day.
