Further info on their wedding open day
Last week we gave you an early heads upabout Hengrave Hall's Wedding Viewing Day, to be held on 25 March 2012. Here are some more images from this historic mansion which also has its own very charming church. We think it looks idyllic! If you are thinking of getting married in Suffolk or its environs do not miss this event, it really will give you a great idea of how your wedding could be, and it's completely free! Worth knowing too that they have 16 fab bedrooms available, so you and your guests (or some of them anyway!) can extend your day by staying the night.
Lord's offers so much more as a wedding venue...
Lord's was founded by Thomas Lord in 1787 as the home of Marylebone Cricket Club, it moved to its current site in St John's Wood in 1814 and is now the ultimate destination for international players and cricket fans alike. As well as all this, it is the most glorious, historical venue for your wedding. At the heart of Lord's is the Pavilion - one of the sporting world's most celebrated interiors - and will enhance any wedding reception or ceremony.
A truly unique venue....
The best day of your life should be spent somewhere really special and WWT London Wetland Centre certainly fits the bill. Set in over 100 acres of beautiful scenery, it's like being in the heart of the country even though you are only ten minutes from Hammersmith Tube.
The glass-fronted Observatory has panoramic views over the main lake with the London skyline as a backdrop, making it a breath-taking location for your ceremony or reception. If you want a more intimate and unusual location you can hold your ceremony in the Wetland Living Lodge, a thatched building surrounded by ponds and reed beds. The Water's Edge Room is light and airy with wonderful views across the reserve, making it the ideal place for your reception.
