Consisting of two charming railway arches with beautiful exposed brickwork, Kachette is a multi functional event space - double arched ticket hall of the now defunct Shoreditch station - constructed by Victorian architects in 1860 and sat unused for 25 years. The exposed brickwork is a key feature that adds a unique touch to the experience whilst offering the highest possible standards, perfect for alternative and edgy Weddings and Civil Partnerships.
Civil Ceremonies and refreshments are typically held in the front arch (Arch 1) which is quickly turned around into the dance area while guests are having their meal in the second arch. Arch 1 has a standing capacity of 180 people whereas Arch 2 is perfect to accommodate intimate seated receptions for 100 guests, banquet style. A courtyear area is also available for catering facitilies.
Thank to the two large billboards on each side of the entrance and an elegant metal and glass front door, Kachette stands out reflecting the quirky yet classic and polished look of one of the trendiest areas of London.

7 minutes walk from Old Street Station, Shoreditch offers plenty of potential space waiting to be reimagined. Old brick warehouses have transformed into interactive art galleries, and countless buildings have served as Banksy’s canvases. Shoreditch’s appeal as a creative playground stems (at least, in part) from an urban, gritty underbelly, but clean-cut treasures aren’t in short supply—Shoreditch’s design sensibilities also influence its trendy pubs and cafes.
