Old Luxters Barn is available for your exclusive use, we can accommodate up to 100 guests for a sit down meal, or it can be personalised to make a more intimate setting for smaller parties. Our highly recommended and innovative in-house caterers are waiting to tempt you with their locally sourced seasonal menus. We can offer anything from a traditional three course meal, to a stylish barbeque or spit roast. Alternatively you might prefer a canapé reception, the choice is yours. Your celebration meal can be followed by entertainment to suit your own tastes and budget. The choices are endless from a disco to a barn dance, a bouncy castle to a casino. For larger parties our marquee provides excellent additional space, an ideal place for guests to meet, circulate and refresh themselves during the celebrations.
We have been arranging weddings and private parties at Old Luxters Barn since 1999. Our reputation is exceptional and we are currently one of Chiltern Hills Register Office\'s most popular venues for Civil Ceremonies.
Our licence enables Civil Ceremonies to take place in the barn. The seating capacity for all types of ceremony is a maximum of 100. Civil Ceremonies are held on any day of the year with the exception of New Year\'s Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
We also regularly arrange Humanist Ceremonies; these are not governed by law and can therefore take place wherever you please.
After your ceremony, you can have reception drinks on our courtyard or lawn area, accompanied by canapés if you wish. We can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests for your wedding breakfast, which will be served in the barn. The barn can also be personalised for smaller groups for a more intimate setting.
Your Wedding Breakfast can be followed by evening entertainment such as our in-house disco, a band or even a barn dance! During this time you can have more food such as a buffet or a spit roast. We are licensed until 2.00 am every day of the week.
For larger parties our marquee provides a wonderful space for reception drinks and canapés and can be used throughout the day to provide additional space.
